It all started when a patient came one day, in consultation, asking me for a solution to a private preoccupation. He didn’t like his testicles, which were always drawn up as if, in his words, he had, “just been swimming in the North Atlantic”. After careful consideration and a review of the structural anatomy of the area, a bespoke solution was found: using Botox, the Scrotox became our treatment of the testicles.
Botox is a substance that limits neurotransmission and therefore softens muscle contraction. Consequently, a few days after the injection, the muscles being treated relax completely.
Once injected into the Cremaster muscle, the muscle responsible for the contraction of the testicle, Botox will relax muscle action. The testicles will therefore descend naturally and appear slightly larger.
A Botox session generally lasts 30 minutes.
Every Botox treatment session begins with a careful diagnostic examination of wrinkles and areas to be treated by the doctor.
Once the diagnosis has been established, the treatment has been defined and consent has been given, the doctor’s assistant performs an antiseptic cleansing of the skin and applies an anaesthetic cream to make it perfectly painless. Botox injections applied with painless micro-needle to a few specific points
At the end of the treatment, the assistant evenly applies a refreshing hydrating mask with hyaluronic acid to soothe the treated skin. The patient can immediately resume the normal course of his day because the injection of Botox doesn’t cause major undesirable side effects. There is therefore no need to withdraw socially.
The Scrotox intervention includes other virtues: it also regulates the sweat glands and therefore calms perspiration in this area.
The result of the Scrotox treatment lasts from 4 to 6 months.
A biannual injection is generally sufficient.
If the patient’s muscles or metabolism are very active, 3 sessions per year are also possible.
